1.What does Freego mean?

It means that you can drive it to go anywhere freely according to your thinking; just go anywhere freely and enjoy gliding.

Freego means free to go anywhere you want.

2.What's a glide?

 A glide is a trip you take on FreeGo. We like the term because it simply and accurately describes the easy and smooth riding motion of a FreeGo. Gliding is a fun way to meet new people, see the sights, or just get out and enjoy the day.

3.What is it like to glide on FreeGo? 

Gliding on FreeGo feels like nothing you've ever experienced! Step on and your instincts take over. You'll quickly realize that the FreeGo will respond similarly to how you balance yourself ,as if it were an extension of your body. Simply lean forward slightly and the FreeGo will move in response. It all feels incredibly natural and really cool.

4.How does FreeGo move? How does it balance?

FreeGo senses the lean of the rider with the assistance of two-dimensional inertial navigation system and two accelerometers that sense the angle of the FreeGo with respect to gravity at 100 times per second. It balances the rider by applying forces to the ground in the direction of the lean. If you lean forward the FreeGo applies motor torque to the wheel to push it forward, bring you upright and balance you. When you lean back, it applies reverse torque to slow you down and balance you accordingly.

5.What is advantage of using FreeGo?

 It can save the time spent on traffic and improve the efficience.It is green instrument.It conforms the requirement of new energy in new century. 

6. Is it safe for driving FreeGo?Will it fall down if the speed is too fast?

 FreeGo has safe alarm system,when you drive too fast,It will alert and control the scooter body directly.The speed will be reduced to the safe level.But you need pay attention to the road,do not keep it drive on complexed road. Freego does not fall itself. Mostly drives fall down because of its boby lost balance. When drive jumps off, Freego will stop itself later when it finds there is no weight on it. 

7. What is the road and weather condition for driving FreeGo?

 There is no requirement for Freego driving condition. Freego scooters can work well on flat roads, such as big squares, airport and hotels, but it can also work in forest, which roads are not flat enough but moves not as fast a flat roads. 

8.Where is FreeGo can be used?

It can be used for leasing ,tour and patrol.

It has wide application as below:

9.How much dose a FreeGo cost?

   It is US$1000 for one sample. You can contact our sales for detailed price.

10.What is MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity)?

 As a manufacturer, we live on quantity order.  In order to support our overseas business partners,  we accept small order quantity, but the MOQ is 20 units after samples are tested. You are allowed to buy samples for testing in the first beginning.

11.How to buy from your company? how to pay?

 You can contact our sales for the total payment including shipping cost and then transfer the payment by T/T(Bank transfer) or Western Union.We will send to you via Express by Fedex,DHL or by air. You will receive it in 3--5 days.

12. There are many sellers in China. How can we choose?

Self-balancing scooters are new in China, just 2--3 years on market, you can imagine  how the market responses. Not all factories are qualified and experienced. So it is much important to find an experienced manufacturer instead of resellers or inexperienced exporters. We have many dealers in China and overseas. In China, some companies use unfair competition by offering low price (maybe lower profit or no profit) . That is why some of them offer lower prices than ours. Once we find this situations, we will stop  supplying to them. So welcome to report to us.  We supply professional technical support and 12 month warranty. We do not provide technical support for those who do not buy from our factory directly or our authorized resellers.

13.What is max speed of Freego UV01 & UV01C?

    its Max. Speeed is 18 km/h. It is adjustable. (10km/h--18km/h optional). You can speed up or down by your body. 

14.What is the battery for UV01?

    It is lead-acid battery, rechargeable. 2 batteries inside (12V, 14AH). 

15.How long does it take for a fully charge?

 Lead-acid  battery takes about 4--8 hours for full charging. But you can charge it when you do not use it.  It takes 1 --2 hours to charge for low battery charging.

16. How long can a Freego drive after a full charging?

 It can drive 30km-35km for flat floor. It differs for different road condition and driving skills.

17. What is the motor?

    The motor's output power up to 800W per motor.It has two brush motors. 

18. What is Max. load of FreeGo?

    100-130kg. All models of Freego scooters can load 100kg-130kg. More than 130kg, it will destroy the components inside and reduce its life of using.

19. How many colors of FreeGo UV01?

 Usually it is black color. They are the main color for regular orders. But there are another 5 colors are available. They are Red,Yellow,Silver,Blue and Purple. Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for other colors is 20pcs. 50USD/unit is extra cost for other colors.

20. What is the warranty for Freego Scooters?

We supply 12 months for main parts of scooters from the date of receipt.

Motors :   12 months

Batteries : 6 months

Motherboard : 6 months

21.How can i do if FreeGo is not working?

 Please contact us with detailed trouble description. Our experienced support team will help you. You can fix yourself with guidance. 

If some parts are broken, you can change it yourself and send the old 

22.Where is serial number of FreeGo?

 It can be found on the warranty of the muser manual or body.  

23. How to maintain and clean FreeGo?

 Professional maintaining and cleaning are not necessary for Freego.What you need do is keep the power is enough before your driving.Please keep it charged twice after its power run out completely.Please supplement power if you keep it not used over 3 weeks. You can use dry brush to clean tire and bottom or use wet soft cloth to clean its body.

24. About patents of Freego Scooter

Question: Segway has patents for marketing. Does your Freego scooter can sell in my country?

Answer:    Sure. we have patents too. Please contact our sales persons for patents.  To be honest, many of our customers worry about the patents trouble when they start to cooperate with us. They said Segway has patents for Segway scooter, and they are not sure if they will sell our Freego scooter in their local market because Segway has branches or shops in their city. This is an understandable question. Let's take Mobile Phone as an example. As we all know both Apple and other phone producers make mobile phones. And they all phone patents for covers and technology of communications. Can APPLE company stop HTC from producing phones? The self-balancing  technology is not only found or invented by Dean Kamen, but also made by us. We have our own patents too. 

One more thing, our Freego scooter looks similar with Segway, but not same.  We use the same working principle--Self-balancing principle, this is same with Segway. We have our own brand--Freego and Eswing. We do not use Segway brand and we never call our product Segway. So it has nothing to do with Infringement.

25. The relationship between balancing and Gyroscope. 

Answer: 

1.) we need to know the definition and the function of a Gyroscope. 

A vibrating structure gyroscope is a type of gyroscope that functions much like the halteres of an insect. The underlying physical principle is that a vibrating object tends to continue vibrating in the same plane as its support rotates. In the engineering literature, this type of device is also known as a Coriolis vibratory gyro because as the plane of oscillation is rotated, the response detected by the transducer results from the Coriolis term in its equations of motion ("Coriolis force").

2.) It does not mean that more gyroscopes, more stable. 

Segway has 5 gyroscopes that is because of its system and structure. But it still falls and its boss died of Segway.  

Most china-made Segway scooters are just 1 gyroscope and we do not have any problem of stability. Our products have been exported to Europe 3 years and we have many distributors who are marketing our Freego scooters.

that is to say, it desponds on different system structure. It does not mean that more gyroscopes, more stable. You can buy samples to test it before you buy quantity. Many Segway buyers choose to cooperate with us after they tried our scooter. You are welcome to visit our factory to try our scooter and you also can buy a sample to test if you do not plan to visit us.

26 Question: How many products do you have and what are differences?

Answer:  Our main products are Electric Scooters and Electric Bikes. According to different application and market demind, we classify them as follows:

27 Question: How much does an Electric scooter cost ?

Answer: Usually a good Electric Bike’s production cost in factory is about USD300-USD500 without Lithium battery and the types of Brakes, Suspension and Materials Lithium battery are much different from 36V, 6Ah to 48V, 20AH. The price for battery pack is from USD40 to USD250 which are much different because of the battery cell quality and capactiy.  An e-Bike can be very cheap, low level strategy and it can be also high end ebike with Excellent quality and stlylish design. As we all know low price products can be more competitive when you sell in your local market. Low price is a sharp blade that can kill everything.
